Construction Theme Party for my nephew’s 2nd Birthday

For my nephew’s 2nd birthday party, my sister (his mom) decided on a construction/dump truck theme party because he loves to dig in the dirt/sand and play with trucks.

How do you go about planning a 2-year-old birthday party?

My sister searched online for ideas. She decided to incorporate the colors orange, green, and yellow into the birthday party. She found on Etsy a design template for printable food and decor labels. You can find it under vixenMade’s Construction Truck Party Printables.

For the activities, my brother-in-law placed a tarp on the grass and covered it with sand. Buckets, trucks, shovels, and other sand toys were out for the kids. For protection and cute factor, each kid received a plastic construction hard hat.
