Christmas is just around the corner. To help you out, I have some gift giving ideas.

Give the gift of a cookbook to your friends/family that loves to cook. Order a signed and personalized copy of my cookbook, New Southern Table. To order, go to contact me.

Oatmeal Lace cookiesGive the gift of homemade cookies. Make and bake a batch of cookies like my oatmeal lace cookies. Package them in a clear plastic bag or plastic container with decorative ribbon or raffia. You can find bags and containers at dollar stores and craft stores.

southern candy bar

Give the gift of homemade candy. If you have a chocolate lover family member or friend, he or she will love homemade fudge and/or my Southern candy bar. Package the candy in candy boxes. You can find the boxes at a craft store like Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

Cinnamon-Pecan Granola Bars

Give the gift of homemade granola bars or granola. Not all homemade goodies have to be sweets and unhealthy. Make and bake my cinnamon-pecan granola bars from my New Southern Table cookbook or my cinnamon & pecan granola from my Modern Hospitality cookbook. Package the bars in a clear plastic bag with decorative ribbon and the granola in a mason jar.

Griddled blueberry muffin

Give the gift of a homemade baked good. If you are staying with family for Christmas, my griddled blueberry muffins (recipe in New Southern Table) make a great hostess gift.

Ok so now that you have all of these ideas, you just have to grocery shop. Enjoy creating these homemade gifts made with love.

Merry Christmas! Jesus is the reason for the season.
